Not so sure about ROT getting more members...I remember reading somewhere on ROT's announcement that they were reopening that the clan was not open to the public; only way to get in was to spy or something. It was very strange and I may have misinterpreted it though.

Also about RoT being private, they would obviously make exceptions for clan friends which is where most of their good members would be coming from if they were open to the public anyway. Being private will just make sure they only get the most loyalest members joining and it will keep the retards out.
